The learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that in light of the order passed on 17.10.2023, he re-examined the matter and in view thereof he does not wish to press the petition. He further submits that time was granted by the Curt to deposit the cost of Rs. 2,500/-, however, the same has yet not been deposited and submits that he shall be able to do it by today . The learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition which is accordingly dismissed as not pressed, however, he is directed to deposit the amount of cost in terms of the order dated 17.10.2023 and furnish the said receipt by means of a supplementary affidavit within a week. In case if the same is not done within the aforesaid period, the amount shall be recovered from the petitioner.
