This petition has been filed for a direction to the concerned authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for allotment of new fair price shop for Village Panchayat-Dharmapur, Block-Katra Bazar, District-Gonda in accordance with the provision of Government Order dated 07.07.2020. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that in pursuance of the letter dated 30.09.2023 and on the basis of proposal made by the opposite party no.9, the petitioner and two other self help groups have applied for selection and a direction may be issued for selection in accordance with law. Admittedly, no selection and proposal by the Goan Sabha has still been made and it can not be alleged without any basis that the selection will not be made in accordance with law, therefore this petition is premature.
