Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the demand notice dated 20.09.2023. Sri Manish Jauhari, learned counsel for the respondents-Power Corporation points out that against the provisional assessment, the petitioner has an opportunity to file objection.

¶3In this view of the matter, without entering into merits of the case, we dispose of this petition, permitting the petitioner to move an application raising objection to the provisional

assessment

before

the

respondent no.3/Executive Engineer, Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, within two weeks from today.

¶4In case any such application is moved by the petitioner, the same shall be considered treating such application to be response to the provisional assessment. Accordingly, final assessment order shall be passed by the authority concerned which shall be served upon the petitioner within next six weeks.
