Petitioners have approached this court claiming that in widening the road respondents are going beyond the prescribed limit of the State Highway. Learned Standing Counsel on instruction stated that the road is being widened only upto the extent of 24 metres and not beyond the same. The statement is taken on record. In case the petitioners dispute the factual measurements of widening of road, it shall be open for the petitioner to file a suit in accordance with law. The writ petition is disposed of.
