There is consensus at the bar that the matter in issue is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court passed in Writ-A No.6859 of 2023 in re: Ram Kripal Pandey and 11 others vs. State of U.P. and 2 others, decided on 19.09.2023, a copy of which has been filed as Annexure-5 to the writ petition. Accordingly taking into consideration the aforesaid consensus, the present petition is disposed of in light of the aforesaid judgment passed in the case of Ram Kripal Pandey (supra).
