The present petition has been filed for the following main relief:- "suitable direction commanding the opposite party no. 2/Additional District Magistrate (F/R) District Sultanpur to decide the Case bearing No. 7 of 2023 Computerized Case No. D202304680000007, moved by the petitioner on 04.01.2023, U/s-30 of U.P. Revenue Code for the Correction of Map of Gata no. 1264 having area of 0.1490, titled as Ram Sakal vs. Village panchayat and others within specific time frame as court may deem fit just and proper." Considering the fact that application for correction of map is pending since January 2023 as also that the period prescribed for disposal of such type of cases in the statutory provision namely Rule 36(6) of U.P. Revenue Code Rules 2016, the present petition is disposed of with direction to opposite party no.2/Additional District Magistrate (F/R) District Sultanpur, to consider and decide the pending Case in issue, detailed above, most expeditiously, after affording full opportunity of hearing to the parties, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment, preferably within a period of three months from the next date fixed before it, if there is no other legal impediment in this regard. It is made clear that the Court has not examined the case of either party on merits and the Authority concerned shall be free to decide the matter strictly in accordance with law.
