¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties for considering petitioner's claim for grant of annual increment w.e.f. 01.07.2023 for purposes of pension and arrears of pay with effect from his date of superannuation with interest.

¶3For the said grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 03.10.2023. At present, learned counsel for petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

¶4Considering the innocuous prayer, without entering into the merits, liberty is granted to petitioner to file a fresh representation before opposite party no. 1 i.e. State of U.P. through its Principal Secretary, Department of Technical Education, Govt. of U.P., Civil Secretariat, Lucknow who shall consider and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of representation dated 03.10.2023 along with the copy of this order.
