¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶2There is no resolution of the Gram Panchayat for construction of public path way in question of which the work is stated to have been left incomplete. The writ petition filed in public interest does not disclose complete details. The pleas are not substantiated on the basis of any supporting material.

¶3In these circumstances taking cognizance of a cause in public interest is nothing but a futile exercise.

¶4At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file a fresh petition by enclosing all the relevant documents in support of his contention.
