¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents.

¶2This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding the Opposite Parties particularly Opposite Party No. 2 and 3 to provide the protection of life of the petitioner in pursuance of impugned First Information Report No. 477 of 2023, dated 20.09.2023, Under Section 366 I.P.C., Police Station - Kotwali Rudauli, District - Ayodhya, lodged by Opposite Party No. 4 (contained as annexure No. 1), in the interest of justice.."

¶3It transpires from the array of parties that the instant writ petition has been filed by wife of the accused.
