Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the opposite parties for payment of retrial dues such as gratuity, leave encashment, G.P.F., Group Insurance and Pension, which have not been paid to petitioner despite the fact that he has superannuated from service on 31st March, 2023 from post of Radio Inspector. It is submitted that there is no departmental inquiry pending against petitioner but due to non payment of such benefits, he filed representation dated 15th September, 2023 which is still pending consideration. At present learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No. 2 i.e. Director General of Police (Telecom), Uttar Pradesh Police Radio Headquarter, Lucknow is directed to decide representation dated 15th September, 2023 within a period of six weeks weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is submitted before the said authority. In case petitioner is found entitled for the aforesaid benefits, the said retiral benefits shall be paid to petitioner within a period of next two months.
