Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties. Petition has been filed for the following relief:- " i. issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the opposite parties to pay the differences of salary after revision of pay scale in Level 13-A-1 Grade Pay Rs. 9000/- which comes entry pay Rs.1,31,400/- w.e.f. 3.5.2018 till his superannuation i.e. 31.12.2021 and pay revised pension, commutation and differences of Gratuity etc. along with 12% interest from due date till actual payment made to the petitioner pursuant to Govt. order dated 21.8.2022 issued by the State Government." For the aforesaid grievance, the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 23.08.2023 to the opposite party No.1. At present learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No. 1 i.e. Principal Secretary, Department of Technical Education, Government of U.P., Lucknow is directed to decide representation dated

23.08.2023 in pursuance of government order dated 21.8.2022 in case same is applicable upon petitioner by reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date a copy of this order is produced before him. The petitioner shall annex a copy of the aforesaid representation dated 23.08.2023 along with certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
