¶1Heard learned counsel for parties.

¶2Petitioner-Lucknow Development Authority has approached this Court challenging the supplementary award dated

15.7.2004 passed by respondent no.6-Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition), Nagar Mahapalika-I, Lucknow.

¶3A preliminary objection is raised by learned counsel for respondents that petitioner has an alternative remedy to challenge the said award by way of reference under Section 18(1) and 18(3) of the Land Acquisition Act as amended in the State of U.P.

¶4Learned counsel for petitioner-Lucknow Development Authority could not dispute the correctness of the said submission.

¶5In view thereof, present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner-Lucknow Development Authority to file a reference against the aforesaid supplementary award.
