¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to consider petitioner's application for compassionate appointment in lieu of services rendered by her father late Munni Lal who passed away in service on 30.03.2018 while working on a Class IV post.

¶3It has been submitted that although petitioner was married but was wholly dependent upon her father and was residing with them due to which she made application for compassionate appointment on 18.02.2019 which is still pending consideration. It is submitted that there are other family members as well namely her mother and her brother.

¶4Considering the aforesaid facts, opposite party no.3 i.e. Principal, Government Industrial Training Center Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow is directed to decide petitioner's application for compassionate appointment within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority after affording opportunity of hearing to petitioner and other heirs.
