¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite party to relieve petitioner from his current post in order to enable him to join in pursuance of transfer order dated 05.06.2023.

¶3It has been submitted that subsequently vide order dated

27.10.2023, directions have also been issued to competent authority to ensure relieving of petitioner on 28.10.2023 but in pursuance thereof opposite party no.3 has not yet ensured relieving of petitioner despite the fact that petitioner's order of transfer still subsisting.

¶4Considering aforesaid facts, opposite party no.3 i.e. Additional Director General of Police, Women Power Line/ Women and Child Security Organization, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow is directed to ensure relieving of petitioner within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in case petitioner's transfer order dated 05.06.2023 still subsisting.
