¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties for consideration of payment of service benefits including pensionary benefits by computing services rendered by him in the Hill Cadre with effect from 12.03.1997 till 28.09.1999 on the post of Medical Officer.

¶3For the said grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 15.09.2023 before the authority concerned. At present, learned counsel for petitioner restricts prayer with regard to final decision on the same.

¶4Considering the innocuous prayer, without entering into merits, opposite party no.2 i.e. Director General, Medical and Health U.P, Swasthya Bhawan, Lucknow or any other competent authority is directed to consider and decide representation of petitioner dated 15.09.2023 expeditiously within a period of eight weeks from the date a copy of this order is produced before authority concerned along with a copy of said representation.
