Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned AGA who appears on behalf of State-respondents and perused the record. This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of the First Information Report dated 2.11.2023 registered as Case Crime/FIR No. 0623 of 2023 under Section 366 IPC, P.S. Kotwali Dehat, District Hardoi and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioner pursuant to the impugned FIR. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners were in love with each other and they are living together as husband and wife. They intend to marry each other soon. This Court has perused the impugned FIR lodged by the father of the petitioner no. 2 and finds that the petitioners are in live-in relationship and they may approach the Investigating OfÏcer with regard to their contention. The Investigating OfÏcer may take an appropriate decision in the matter within a period of four weeks of such contact with him by the petitioners.
