¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Monika Yadav, holding brief of Shri Namit Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent No.2 and learned Standing Counsel for State-respondent No.1.

¶2This writ petition filed in public interest has raised a grievance against the Municipal Corporation as regards failure to streamline the civic amenities in Jankipuram Garden Colony.

¶3As per the instructions placed before us, it is pointed out that the colony in question has unauthorizedly been developed by a private society and the development made is not in consonance with the master plan. The instructions are taken on record.

¶4In these circumstances, it is provided that let a survey of the colony in question be carried out by the Nagar Nigam expeditiously and in case members of the locality are ready to contribute wholly or in part the requisite development charges, the Nagar Nigam may carry out the necessary development so as to better the civic amenities in the colony. The removal of deficiencies shall, however, be without causing any grave inconvenience to the residents.
