11.11.2021 passed by the District Magistrate, Gonda/opposite party no.2, by means of which the arms license of the petitioner has been cancelled on the ground that the petitioner had concealed the material fact about pendency of criminal case against him at the time of application and by means of the said order, a direction has also been issued for taking appropriate action against the officers/officials who were responsible for grant of arms license to the petitioner. The appeal filed by the petitioner has also been dismissed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that arms license of the petitioner has wrongly and illegally been cancelled, though it was renewed also after grant in the year 2013 and the same was not misused by the petitioner. However, he could not dispute the findings recorded by the District Magistrate that there was concealment by the petitioner at the time of application.
