Petitioner has approached this court quashing the impugned notices dated 28.06.2023 and 13.01.2021 issued by the respondents. Ms. Aprajita Bansal, learned counsel for the Power Corporation has raised a preliminary objection that against the final assessment order which is passed after considering the objections of petitioner, the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing an appeal under Section 127 of the Electricity Act. In view thereof, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an appeal under Section 127 of the Electricity Act or to move an application in accordance with the scheme, if any, introduced by the respondents to compound such matters. In case such an appeal/application is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be decided by the respondents expeditiously in accordance with law by passing a reasoned and speaking order after hearing all the parties.
