¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite party to consider petitioner's application for compassionate appointment.

¶3It is submitted that petitioner's father late Ram Autar passed away during service on 19.11.2004 leaving behind his widow and three minor children including petitioner. It is submitted that at the time of demise petitioner was only four years old and attained majority in 2018 whereafter he submitted the application dated 10.10.2023 which is pending consideration. It is submitted that direction may be issued for decision on the said application.

¶4Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No.2 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police G.R.P., Jhansi is directed to consider and decide representation dated

10.10.2023 by reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of application dated 10.10.2023 alongwith a copy of this order.
