Civil Secrtt., Lko. And Another Counsel for Applicant :- Manish Mani Sharma Counsel for Opposite Party :- Pavan Kumar Maurya Hon'ble Rajesh Singh Chauhan,J.

¶1Heard Sri Manish Mani Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sunil Bajpai, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel.

¶2Sri Sunil Bajpai has drawn attention of this Court towards Para-6 of the affidavit of compliance wherein it has been indicated that the petitioner has been paid the arrears of pension i.e. Rs. 5,28,736/- from the month of November, 2021 to August, 2023 and the order dated 18.09.2023 to that effect has been enclosed as Annexure No. 1 to the affidavit of compliance.

¶3Sri Manish Mani Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the aforesaid amount has been credited in the account of the petitioner but the petitioner has not been paid his regular pension, as per information, so received by him from his client.

¶4Be that as it may, after perusal of the order dated 18.09.2023 and the recital to this effect given in Para-6 of the affidavit of compliance, I do not find any good ground to keep this contempt petition pending any longer.

¶5Accordingly, the instant contempt petition is dismissed.

¶6Notices, if any, are discharged.

¶7However, it is always open for the petitioner to claim his regular pension etc., if the same is not being paid to the petitioner, as stated by learned counsel for the petitioner. [Rajesh Singh Chauhan,J.] Order Date :- 18.11.2023 kkv/ High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
