¶1Heard Sri Shyam Mohan Upadhyay, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel on behalf of the respondents.

¶2It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that father of the petitioner had been issued an arm's license with regard to SBBL Gun/arms 12 Bore No.HIM-21828 (India). The father of the petitioner died on 6.8.2022 and subsequently on 29.8.2022 the petitioner moved an application under Rule 25 of The Arms Rules, 2016 for grant of arm's license and also to transfer the weapon held in the name of his father.
