¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State

¶2The petitioner has filed an application dated 23.06.2020 for grant of arms license, but, the same is pending for consideration before the Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Pratapgarh and no decision is being taken on the same.

¶3Learned counsel for petitioner submits that grievance of petitioner would be sufficiently met, in case application dated

28.11.20218 filed by petitioner for grant of arm license is considered and decide by the Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Pratapgarh in a time bound manner.

¶4Looking into the facts and circumstance and without entering into the merits of the case Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Pratapgarh is directed to decide the application dated 23.06.2020 filed by petitioner for grant of arm license after taking into consideration the rules/guidelines applicable for grant of arms license under Section 13 of the Arms Act, 1959 read with Rule 25 of the Arms Rule, 2016, within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him.
