(1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State.

(2) Learned A.G.A. for the State has filed a short counter affidavit, which is take on record. He has submitted on the basis of short counter affidavit that the investigation has been concluded and the final report was prepared on 19.10.2023, which was forwarded to the Supervisory Authority for onward submission to the Trial Court.

(3) This petition is disposed of with a direction to the Supervisory Authority to carefully examine the said final report and take appropriate decision on the same and place its police report before the Trial Court within six weeks, if not already placed.
