Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the opposite parties for payment of post retiral benefits to petitioner such as family pension and gratuity, leave encashment, G.P.F. & group insurance in view of the fact that petitioner's husband late Subhash Chandra Guru passed away on 9th June, 2023 leaving behind petitioner as his widow and a son and daughter as other heirs. For the aforesaid grievance, the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 28th October, 2023. At present learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same. Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No. 2 i.e. Director General of Police (Telecom), Uttar Pradesh, Police Radio Headquarter, Mahanagar, Lucknow is directed to decide representation dated 28th October, 2023 within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is submitted before him. In case petitioner is found entitled for the said relief, payment of aforesaid benefits shall be ensured within a period of six weeks thereafter.
