Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. In view of the proposed order, notices to respondent no. 3 are dispensed with. By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- Wherefore, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to direct the opp. party no.2/ Principal Judge Family Court Sultanpur to decide the Criminal Mise Case No. 839/ 2020 titled as Parveen Versus Shakil Ahmad U/S 125 Cr. P.C. Expeditiously within the stipulated time as provided by this Hon'ble court in the interest of justice. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proceedings under Section 125 Cr.P.C. is pending since 2020. He further submits that the proceedings being summary in nature are liable to be expedited. In view of the above, without entering into merits of the case, the petition is disposed of directing Principal Judge, Family Court, Sultanpur, to expedite the proceedings of the aforementioned case preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
