¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs: "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to treat the petitioners entitled to regular monthly pension, gratuity, leave encashment, commutation of pension, General Provident Fund and family pension ete, as available prior to

01.04.2005 under the Rules of 1961 on their superannuation, at par the officers lower in rank to them in the select/merit list dated 28.08.2004 and further declare the petitioners entitled to all the consequential service benefits.

(ii) issue any other appropriate writ, order or direction which is deemed just and proper in the nature and circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioners in the interest of justice along with the cost of this writ petition."

¶3For the aforesaid grievance, petitioners have already submitted individual representations dated 11.03.2022,

27.04.2022, 20.01.2023 and 23.01.2023. At present learned counsel for petitioners restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

¶4Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioners and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No.1 i.e. Principal Secretary, Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of U.P., Civil Secretariat, Vidhan Bhawan, Lucknow is directed to consider and decide representations dated 11.03.2022, 27.04.2022,

20.01.2023 and 23.01.2023 by reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority. Petitioner shall annex copies of representations dated 11.03.2022, 27.04.2022,

20.01.2023 and 23.01.2023 alongwith a copy of this order.
