Notices to respondent no. 2 are dispensed with in view of the proposed order. The petitioner by this petition has prayed for the following relief:- "Wherefore, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Ambedkar Nagar to expeditiously decide/conclude the Criminal Misc. Case No. 357/2019 (Ishrat Jahan & others Versus Yaseen Ahmad) under section 125 Cr.P.C., pertaining to Police Station-Hanswar, District-Ambedkar Nagar pending before him expeditiously on the next date fix which is

01.12.2023, interest of justice." Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the aforesaid case for maintenance filed by the petitioners under Section 125 Cr.P.C. is pending since 2019. It has been further submitted that even the interim maintenance application has not been decided yet. The proceedings under Section 125 Cr.P.C. are summary in nature and are liable to be expedited, hence, it is prayed that the aforementioned case may be directed to be expedited at an early date. Learned AGA has no objection to this innocuous prayer. In view of the above and without entering into merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Principal Judge, Family Court, Ambedkar Nagar to decide the aforesaid case within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If the application for interim maintenance is pending before the concerned Court, the same shall also be decided within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
