¶1Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.

¶2Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶3Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to reinstate petitioner on the post of Homeguard.

¶4It has been submitted that petitioner was initially engaged in service as a Home Guard in the year 1984-1985 and has worked as such in January, 2020 after having completed various training programmes initiated by the opposite parties but has been dispensed from service without any written order or affording opportunity of hearing.

¶5For the said grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 16.06.2023. At present, learned counsel for petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

¶6Considering innocuous prayer, without interim into merits, liberty is granted to petitioner to file a fresh representation before opposite party no 4 i.e. Director General/Commandant General Homeguard U.P. Old Jail Road Lucknow, who shall consider and decide the same within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of representation dated 16.06.2023 along with the copy of this order.
