Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record. Notices to respondent no. 2 are dispensed with in view of the proposed order. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a complaint case bearing case No. 788/2020 "Puneet Kumar Gupta Vs. Raj Kishore" was filed by the petitioner under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act in the year 2020 before Extra Magistrate District Faizabad/Ayodhya, however, the same has not been decided till date. He further submits that the proceedings under N. I. Act are summary in nature and it has been provided under Section 143(3) that the trial is required to be expedited within six months from the date of filing of the complaint. He lastly submits that the proceedings of the aforesaid case may be expedited. Learned AGA has no objection to this innocuous prayer. On due consideration to the innocuous prayer of the petitioner, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Extra Magistrate District Faizabad/Ayodhya to expedite the trial of case No. 788/2020 "Puneet Kumar Gupta Vs. Raj Kishore", expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Order Date :- 29.11.2023 R.C.
