¶1Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and Shri Mohan Singh, learned Counsel who has put in appearance on behalf of respondent no.4.

¶2It appears that for implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme, a water tank for supply of water is being constructed in the village. For supply of water to the villagers, it is necessary that the pipelines are laid underneath the ground for which the villagers are duty bound to provide an easy access through their land. This does not lead to any loss to the villagers, particularly, when the supply of water to the villagers themselves is a public service carried out by the State.

¶3In these circumstances, merely because the agency implementing the Jal Jeevan Mission has dug the pipelines through the petitioner's land does not give rise to any cause which may be entertained in exercise of writ jurisdiction.
