¶1Heard Sri Arun Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Amrendra Pratap Singh, learned Standing Counsel.

¶2By means of order dated 17.09.2020, the writ court has directed to decide the proceedings of Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 with expedition. Tehsildar, Kunda, Pratapgarh has passed order dated 22.11.2023 concluding the aforesaid proceedings directing for eviction of the illegal encroacher imposing a fine of Rupees One Lakh and further, issuing the Recovery Certificate. The aforesaid order is taken on record and a copy thereof shall be provided to the learned counsel for the petitioners.

¶3Sri Amrendra Pratap Singh, on the basis of instructions, has stated that in compliance of the aforesaid order, not only the illegal encroachment would be removed but also a sum of Rupees One Lakh shall be realized from the illegal encroacher strictly in accordance with law. Sri Amrendra Pratap Singh has also stated that the aforesaid order shall be executed forthwith, if the same is not assailed before the appellate authority within time stipulated.

¶4In the wake of aforesaid development, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present contempt petition.

¶5Accordingly, the present contempt petition is dismissed.
