Hon'ble Jaspreet Singh,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Notice on behalf of the respondent No.1 has been accepted by the office of Chief Standing Counsel. At the outset, learned standing counsel has pointed out that by means of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks expedition of mutation case which has said to to be pending since 2021 before the respondent No.1. It has further been pointed out that as per the order-sheet, the extract of which has been brought on record by the petitioner indicates that on 20.06.2023, the mutation case of the petitioner stood dismissed for want of prosecution. In the aforesaid circumstances, it is urged that the relief as prayed for cannot be granted. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh with appropriate pleadings, necessary and complete up-to-date order-sheets and facts.
