Notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 4 has been accepted by the office of the Chief Standing Counsel. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to decide the represnetation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2023. The submission is that without affording an opportunity, the petitioner has been removed from the service. It is further urged that the petitioner had made several representations but even that have not been decided. Looking into the prayer made by the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that no gainful purpose will be served in keeping the aforesaid petition pending rather ends of justice can be served by directing the respondent No.2 to consider and decide the pending representation of petitioner dated 11.01.2023 most expeditiously, after affording full opportunity of hearing to the parties preferably within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before the respondent No.2 by passing a reasoned and speaking order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. It is made clear that the Court has not examined the case of either of the parties on merits and it shall be open for the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the representation of petitioner strictly in accordance with law.
