¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

¶2It appears that a case of illegal mining i.e. excavation of earth has been registered against the petitioner and his machines have also been seized.

¶3The petitioner has made an application for release of the machines before the District Magistrate concerned.

¶4In case any such application is pending before the District Magistrate, Gonda, the same may be considered and decided expeditiously and preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of the order.
