¶1Case called out in the revised list. None present for the petitioner.

¶2The petitioner claims to be the patta holder of the gata no. 693 measuring 60 sq. meters.

¶3Sri Manish Mishra, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions has stated that some pattas were granted illegally in favour of the ineligible persons which have been cancelled on 17.8.2020 inclusive of the patta granted in favour of the petitioner. However, no interference in the possessory rights of the petitioner is made at this stage.

¶4Leaving the alternative remedy open to the petitioner as permissible under law, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall not be dispossessed except by following the due process under law.
