¶1The present petition has been filed with the following prayers: "I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby commanding and directing to the opposite party no.22 and 3 to renew the Arm License 160 and Arm No.16424-90/ SBBL Gun 12 Bor police station Katra Bazar District Gonda pending since long time contained as Annexure No.1 to this writ petition in the interest of justice. II. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing t the opposite party no.2 and 3 to decide the application dated 03.11.2023 contained as Annexure No.3 to this writ petition in the interest of justice."

¶2Considering the fact that the application is to be decided by the respondent no.2, the present petition is disposed off directing the respondent no.2 to decide the renewal application of the petitioner, in accordance with law, with all expedition preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
