¶1Heard learned counsels for parties.

¶2Petitioner has approached this Court with a grievance that respondent electricity department has sought an amount of Rs.50,282/- for granting him electricity connection.

¶3Learned counsel for respondent states that the amount is sought for drawing the electricity lines to the plot of petitioner.

¶4Since, petitioner and his brother would be having two separate electricity connection for the aforesaid plot, therefore, it appears that the amount would be borne by both the brothers.

¶5In the given facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner may approach the appropriate authority in accordance with law.
