An illness slip has been sent by learned counsel for the petitioners along with request of extension of interim order. Learned AGA is present. This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of the First Information Report dated 23.10.2023 registered as Case Crime No. 0512 of 2023 under Sections 493, 34 IPC, P.S. Unchahar, District Raibareli and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioners pursuant to the impugned FIR. A copy of the statement recorded of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C. by the Magistrate concerned has been produced by the learned AGA before this Court where the victim has supported the prosecution story. After having examined the impugned FIR, we are of the opinion that the impugned FIR discloses cognizable offence against the petitioners, hence, no interference is called for by this Court in its extraordinary power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for quashing of the FIR at the initial stage or for grant of any interim relief to the petitioners and accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed.
