¶1The present petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 21.10.2023 whereby the fair price shop license of the petitioner was suspended.

¶2Considering the nature of the allegations in the suspension order - cum - show cause notice, I do not propose to interfere with the said order at this stage. However, the present petition is disposed off holding that in case the petitioner files a reply with regard to the allegations levelled in the show cause notice within a period of two weeks from today, the SDM, Mahmoodabad shall proceed to take a final decision in accordance with law within a further period of two months from the date of filing of the reply.
