Learned Standing Counsel has stated that earlier the petitioner was given appointment under Dying in Harness rules, therefore the Writ Court has passed the order dated 17.05.2023, which is subject matter of the present contempt application. In pursuance of the order dated 12.10.2023 has been passed for appointing the petitioner, under Dying in Harness rules, on regular basis. As such it has been indicated that the aforesaid order shall remain subject to the final outcome of the pending Special Appeal. Be that as it may, since regular appointment has been given to the petitioner, in terms of the order dated 17.05.2023, therefore, nothing remains to be adjudicated.
