Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing counsel for the State respondent, Sri Akhilesh Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 and 3 and perused the material available on record. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:- "(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents particularly respondent no. 2 i.e. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya through its Vice Chairman to grant affiliation for the academic session 2023-24 the petitioner granted provisional affiliation on 15.07.2020 for under graduate and postgraduate courses with the respondent no. 2, till the academic session 2022-23 (contained as Annexure No. 1) in the interest of justice." It is argued by the counsel for the petitioner that despite the petitioner fulfilling all the requirements, the issue with regard to permanent affiliation is not being considered. As the matter is pending consideration before the respondent no. 3, the present writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a fresh application before the respondent no. 3. In case, such an application is filed, the respondent no. 3 shall take a decision thereupon in accordance with law within a further period of six weeks.
