¶1In terms of the order passed by this Court on 08.12.2023, the ADM (Nagar Poorvi), Sri Amit Kumar is present in Court. He states that notice impugned in the present writ petition was issued based upon the delegation of powers flowing from the Arms Rules,1962, however, the Rules have been replaced by new rules.

¶2In the light of the said replacement, an statement is made before this Court by the ADM that notice dated 06.09.2023 shall be withdrawn, however, it is prayed that the liberty may be given to take action to the authority empowered in accordance with law.

¶3In view of the said statement, the writ petition is rendered infructuous. The respondent is directed to pass an order withdrawing the notice dated 06.09.2023 within 72 hours from today, however, the respondent could be at liberty to take any action by an officer empowered, if so advised, in accordance with law.
