¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms Isha Mittal, learned Addl CSC for the State.

¶2This writ petition filed in public interest has sought a writ of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to formulate a policy in the light of the representation contained in Annexure-1 to the writ petition.

¶3The relief prayed for lies within the domain of the State. This Court cannot make an assessment of any such representation for a direction to the State to formulate any such policy.

¶4It is evident from the letter dated 8.12.2023 placed on record that no such policy is in place in the State.
