This petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 25.01.2023, registered in Case Crime No./FIR No.0025 of 2023, Under Section-419, 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C. at Police Station-Dhanepur, District Gonda, as contained in Annexure No.1 to the writ petition." Supplementary afÏdavit filed by the petitioners has been perused by this Court. From the same, it is evident that a compromise has occurred between the parties. A true copy of the settlement arrived at on 05.10.2023 has been filed as annexure to the said supplementary afÏdavit. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners and the private respondent to approach the Investigating OfÏcer alongwith a True copy of the settlement arrived at between the parties. The Investigating OfÏcer shall proceed strictly in accordance with law thereafter. The True copy of the settlement which has been filed as annexure to the supplementary afÏdavit shall be returned by the Registry to the counsel for the petitioners after retaining a photocopy of the same on record.
