¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ram Swaroop, learned Standing Counsel.

¶2Sri Ram Swaroop has filed the copy of instructions letter dated 17th of April, 2023 preferred by the Principal of B.R.D. Medical College, Gorakhpur, addressing to Chief Standing Counsel

therewith

the

relevant correspondences/documents to show that the order of Writ Court has been complied with in its letter and spirit, the same is taken on record, copy thereof is also provided to learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶3The aforesaid instructions letter reveals that the petitioner and four others Pharmacists/Chief Pharmacists have been transferred and they have been permitted to discharge their duties and some of them are getting regular salary.

¶4In the wake of aforesaid development, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present contempt petition.

¶5Accordingly, the instant contempt petition is dismissed.

¶6Notices, if any, stand discharged.

¶7However, it is open for the petitioner to file an application for revival of the contempt petition if the aforesaid information, so provided by learned Standing Counsel, is not correct and in case such application is filed and the contempt petition is revived, any appropriate order under the Contempt of Courts Act may be passed.
