Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents. This petition has been filed praying the following reliefs:-

(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the impugned history sheet no. A-113 of 2008 opened in the name of the petitioner at Police Station-Krishna Nagar, District-Lucknow which is in violation of provisions made under Regulation 228 to 231 of the U.P. Police Regulation.

(b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no 5 to delete history sheet no. A-113 of 2008 opened in the name of the petitioner at Police Station-Krishna Nagar, District-Lucknow and also delete the name of the petitioner from the notice boards of police station-Krishna Nagar, District-Lucknow It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has given representation dated 30.9.2023 to the Police Commissioner, Lucknow, a copy of such representation has been annexed as Annexure no. 7 of the writ petition. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the opposite party no. 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order within six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
