Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. Petitioners have approached this Court claiming that the application under Section 30(2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 for physical division of the land is pending before the Respondent No.6-District Magistrate, Lucknow. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the grievance of petitioner would be substantially met in case application of the petitioner for the said purposes is considered and decided expeditiously as it appears that there is certain land owned by the police department. Learned Standing Counsel on instruction states that the proceedings will be concluded as expeditiously as possible, say within a period of four weeks. In view thereof, Respondent no.6 District Magistrate, Lucknow, shall consider and decide the the proceedings under Section 30(2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 after hearing all parties concerned in accordance with law by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him. It is made clear that this court has not applied itself on the merits of the case and all questions are left open to be considered and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law.
