¶1Present petition has been filed with the following prayer: "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party to grant the arm license for Pistol/revolver to the petitioner as well as issue the same after looking/perusing the entire reports, submitted by the authorities concern for which no legal impediment is there with immediate effect within some prescribed period determined by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice. ........."

¶2Considering the fact that the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license is pending consideration before the respondents, the present petition is disposed off directing respondents to take a decision on the application of the petitioner filed for grant of arms license, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months.
