¶1The instant writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner on the post of ad-hoc Lecturer (Physics) at Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Smarak Inter College, Khajurahat, District Faizabad.

¶2This Court vide order dated 7.8.2006 issued interim direction provided if promotion is made to the post of Lecturer, the petitioner shall be considered for promotion on that post.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that subsequently Public Service Commission has selected some other candidates and therefore, the petitioner does not want to press the present petition.

¶4Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed.
